Description

So, this is the mask I made for Halloween this year, it took an enormous amount of patience and study of the mask from Batman begins, as worn by Cillian Murphy. It wasn't really possible to make it one chunk of burlap like I wanted, as the burlap I used was a bit firm and unwilling to shape, but the stitches in the mask where I pieced it together only help to make it look scarier. I also took the liberty of creating some hallucinogens as seen to the left of the largest photo ._. This is gonna be the beeeeeest Halloween ever!

~How To~
You can also make a Scarecrow mask, easily I might add (Assuming you have patience). Being burlap is such an uncomfortable material, I (And I recommend you as well) first shaped some thin cotton fabric around my head to create the base of the mask. This assures it's breathable, comfortable and also makes the burlap easy to shape to your face. Be sure it's a bit loose, as after the burlap is stitched, or pasted on (Hot glue works very well for this) it tends to become more snug. Try it on and mark where the eye holes will go, be sure to make them small so that only your eye can be seen through them. While this will make you visually challenged, it is also insanely creepy. The rest is as simple as attaching the burlap, I'd suggest placing the cloth over something of similar shape and size to a head while attaching the burlap. I used a Milk carton! Lolz! If you want to make a mask that looks like the one in Batman Begins, I'd suggest getting some screen shots of Scarecrow from multiple angles and using them for reference.
